Community Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered by the community.

Paige Adele Smith Scholarship

Paige Smith was a 2018 HHS graduate who passed away in a car accident two weeks before graduation. This scholarship is a tribute to Paige and the many people that she touched in the community. This scholarship is for 1 Hilton High School senior who has also completed 25 or more hours of volunteer work. This scholarship is worth $500.

Hilton Applefest Scholarship

To recognize students who have given their time, talent, and treasure to the Community. 

Hilton Fire Department Bernard Whelehan Scholarship

You must be a daughter/son, granddaughter/grandson of a Hilton Fire Department Member, living or deceased. This includes Explorer Post, Ladies Auxiliary, Firemen and EMS Personnel. YOU MUST BE A SENIOR CONTINUING YOUR EDUCATION IN ANY FIELD.

Hilton Heat Soccer Club Scholarship

To recognize 2 senior boys and 2 senior girls who have played for Hilton Heat for 3 years beyond 8th grade.

Hilton-Parma Hamlin Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

To recognize graduating seniors for excellent community service.
Hilton Raiders Scholarship

Two $250 scholarships for seniors who are a former member of the Hilton Raiders Youth Football and Cheerleading organization who participated for a minimum of four full seasons. 
Shannon Sadler Memorial Scholarship

The Shannon Sadler Memorial Scholarship will provide $250 towards education in the area of
Cosmetology. Shannon's passion will live on through the talent that the scholarship will provide.
The candidates will reflect traits that Shannon embodied: being hard working, enthusiastic and
dedicated to achieving her goals will be required of the candidate. Donna and Mike Sadler, parents of Shannon will make the decision re: the scholarship recipient. Applications should be forwarded to the Hilton Education Foundation no later than May 1.
