Principal’s Checkbook
Sponsored by the Summit Federal Credit Union
Annually the Board of Directors designates funds to the Principals’ Checkbook for the purpose of providing help to students in need. Principals have complete access and discretion to spend their checkbook funds. Expenditures in the past have included: winter coats and boots, school supplies, art fees, field trips, graduation fees, cap and gown fees, and senior yearbooks.
The Principal’s Checkbook program provides emergency funds for principals at the five Hilton School District schools. The program gives Hilton’s principals the discretion to use a set amount of funds to help students pay for school supplies and other needs not addressed by the District.

Children in need are provided with essential, nutritious food that they can subtly take home and safely prepare on their own. Food is a basic need for everyone but especially for growing children.
